Why This Resource Exists
North Carolina makes many government records available, but release information is divided by custodian. The Scotland County Sheriff's Office creates county booking and release records. NCDAC runs OPI for prison incarceration and community supervision. The North Carolina Post-Release Supervision and Parole Commission handles eligible parole decisions and post-release conditions. Federal custody histories appear through the Bureau of Prisons when that agency held the person.
This site gathers those release paths, official offender searches, supervision checks, records-request steps, and facility details in one place. It also explains why Citizen Connect current confinement is different from a historical release record and why a transfer into NCDAC custody is not a community release.

- We cannot promise that every posted address, charge, fee, or phone number remains current.
Only the Scotland County Sheriff's Office, NCDAC, or another originating agency can confirm current custody, charges, or release. This site points to their public channels.
